As caregivers, we are in relationships with those who receive our care. These relationships can vary and they will be changed by the act of caregiving. This brings with it a lot of emotions. Sometimes it can be difficult to handle what we feel. We may not even want to acknowledge these feelings coming up. But, left unchecked, the feelings will just grow into bigger issues to navigate down the road. In this presentation, Victoria Lougheed discusses three of these emotions and provides some strategies for managing them.
