Caregiver Support Group Facilitator Training

Family Caregivers of British Columbia is seeking caregiver support program staff and volunteers who can listen with compassion and who have caregiving experience or knowledge of family caregiver issues and concerns. We provide this training to increase caregiver support groups in other community organizations, as well as add support group facilitators to our volunteer team.
This training will provide you with information about the peer support group model, and the skills and techniques for facilitating a caregiver support group.
This online training will take place over four (4) days, gathering to navigate a 2.5 hour module per day. We will expect you to make a commitment to full time participation in the online sessions. Failure to attend all 4 modules, will result in unsuccessful completion of the training.
