Conserving Your Energy

January 30, 2009 By Nancy Fraser

One of the hardest things to do as a caregiver, is to learn how to care for yourself. It’s easy to forget your needs…to forget that you matter too.

Caring is hard work and does take an enormous amount of energy even when looking after those you love.

Balancing responsibilities can be more of a challenge than expected. You give and give, use up all your energy and before you know it, you have nothing left to give but the caring isn’t over.

A healthy happy you makes it easier to cope with any challenges you are faced with.

There are some key strategies and practical tips to feeling cared for and to increase your reserves. The Increasing Your Resiliency Workshop on February 7th provides all of this and more.

For more information and to register see our Workshops and Events listings.
