FCBC Survey on the Impact of COVID-19 on Family Caregivers

We are reaching out to YOU. This is your chance to be heard as a family/friend caregiver in BC. No matter who you care for, where you live in the province or where your care recipient lives (in the community or in facility-based care) – we want to hear from you.

The survey will take roughly 15 minutes of your time. The results will be used to advocate for family/friend caregivers with health leaders and policy makers. We will present evidence about the invaluable role caregivers play in our healthcare system, both provincially and nationally. As well, we will be listening carefully in order to respond to your needs through our programs and services. Please add your voice.

How to participate: Click here to take the survey online. All input is completely confidential.

If you aren’t able to complete the survey online, you can call our Caregiver Support Line (1-877-520-3267) and we will help you by telephone.

Donations this Holiday Season

Thank You from All of Us!

Thank you for supporting a Canadian charity this holiday season. Did you know there are over 1.3 million unpaid family & friend caregivers in BC - and COVID-19 is having a HUGE impact on their lives? These people are truly on the front lines of care - yet we rarely hear about them. They are sons, daughters, spouses and friends and at Family Caregivers of BC we are doing our best to respond to their needs during this time. We have expanded hours on our Caregiver Support Line and extended the reach of other services.  Your donations will support these efforts and demonstrate your recognition of the vital role unpaid family caregivers play in our health care system and society.
