Join us for a free micro webinar, “A Brighter Future of Care: Towards a National Caregiving Strategy for Canada,” presented by the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence (CCCE) and hosted by Family Caregivers of BC.
Since February 2024, the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence (CCCE) has been working with caregivers, care providers, researchers, regulators, policymakers, health and social care leaders, and labour to develop a National Caregiving Strategy aimed at making Canada the best place in the world to give and receive care. In this session, we will share the process that was developed to create the strategy, brief attendees on key elements of the strategy, and advise on pathways toward impactful implementation.
This session is intended for healthcare and social sector professionals, and you will learn:
- Key policy elements in CCCE’s National Caregiving Strategy
- How the strategy could be implemented and how they can help in their workplaces
- The biggest concerns facing Canadian caregivers today

James Janeiro, Director of Policy and Government Relations, Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence
James Janeiro is a public policy and advocacy professional with over a decade of experience in politics, policy, and government relations. As director of policy and government relations at the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence, James leads an ambitious national and pan-Canadian advocacy and policy development agenda focused on substantive and practical reform.
