Open Positions: Support Group Facilitators (In-Person and Virtual)
Do you enjoy leading meaningful conversations and helping others feel supported? Have you been looking for a way to make a positive impact in your community? We’re inviting warm-hearted individuals to volunteer as Family Caregiver Support Group Facilitators. Whether you have caregiving experience or just a passion for helping others, this role provides a unique chance to guide discussions, foster connections, and create a safe space for caregivers. Plus, we offer our comprehensive FCBC Facilitator Training to equip you with all the skills you need!
For In-Person Meetings in Metchosin and Vancouver, volunteers will complete our facilitator training course (7 Hours on LMS), prepare topics, lead monthly meetings, and handle brief admin tasks. They’ll also join online facilitator sessions and can attend optional volunteer gatherings.
For Virtual Meetings across BC, volunteers will complete training, prepare topics, lead monthly Zoom sessions, and manage quick post-meeting tasks. Participation in online facilitator sessions and optional gatherings is also included.
