Fall Prevention Workshop

November 22, 2022

Did you know that falls are the leading cause of preventable hospitalization and loss of independence among adults over 50? It’s a shocking statistic, and a life-changing one. Another important piece of information is that the majority of caregivers and care recipients here in BC are over the age of 50. So it’s of utmost importance to be aware of fall hazards, and to know what you can do to prevent falls for yourself and your loved ones or friends. Dr Jennifer Davis will present this webinar filled with information and tips about fall prevention as part of the national campaign in November.
