Sessions: 3rd Thursday of each month, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Facilitator: Rob Cloke
Description: This virtual support group is designed for adults who are navigating the complexities of caring for parents or older family members, including uncles, aunts, and cousins. We will delve into the nuanced relationship dynamics that can arise as these caregiving roles shift. Our goal is to explore how these changes can affect communication and interpersonal connections, and to offer strategies for enhancing dialogue and understanding among family members.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their personal experiences in a supportive, peer-led environment, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding. By discussing their unique challenges and insights, attendees can gain valuable perspectives and coping strategies.
Participants will collaboratively identify key themes and topics of concern they wish to address in future discussions. This approach ensures that the group’s focus aligns with the specific needs and interests of its members, creating a tailored and impactful experience for everyone involved.
