International Self-Care Day!

July 24, 2023

Today is July 24th, the International Day of Self-Care!

To help you celebrate, Family Caregivers of BC has created self-care resources that you can use not only today, but any day of the year.

Self-Care, self-awareness, and resiliency are related! One of the key ways to build resilience is to focus on taking care of yourself. It helps to keep your mind and body primed to deal with situations that require resilience.

Join our webinar today , “Strengthen Your Resiliency Muscle” with Kate Landreth from FCBC, as she guides caregivers through a conversation around resiliency, self-reflection, and self-care.  We welcome family and friend caregivers to join the webinar on Monday, July 24th at 2 pm PST.  The webinar will also be archived to the Family Caregivers of BC website in the resource center.  REGISTER HERE

We have also created a new Facebook group where you can connect to other caregivers in BC, share stories, offer support, share resources, learnings and anything else that will help you & other group participants in your caregiver journeys.🥰

And, last but certainly not least, we have created a self-care tool kit.  This resource can help you plan, organize and manage practicing self-care any time of the year!  Simply print off one, or all three sheets and have them on-hand when you need them. (Find sheets below)
